Audi India opens bookings for the new Q2
Audi India has started accepting bookings for its smallest SUV, the Q2. Audi Q2 will be the luxury carmaker’s fifth launch this year. The official launch of the Q2 is on the cards but its bookings have commenced already at your nearest dealerships and on the official website as well. The Q2 will be the smallest SUV offered from the brand and is expected to be the most affordable one.
The Q2 is based on Volkswagen’s MQB platform and will be a pre-facelift model of the Q2 that was launched recently for the international markets.
The Q2 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that is mated to a seven-speed DCT auto box. It also gets the Quattro all-wheel-drive system and sprints from 0-100kmph in just 6.5 seconds.
As an introductory offer, the brand is also offering a complimentary five-year service package programme called the ‘Peace of Mind’ that includes 2+3 years of extended warranty and 2+3 years of complete roadside assistance.
Speaking at the announcement of Audi Q2, Balbir Singh Dhillon, head, Audi India, said, “We are extremely happy to open bookings for the Audi Q2. Our fifth launch for the year, the Audi Q2 is an extremely important product for India as it opens up a new segment of buyers for the brand. It is a Luxury All-Rounder that is big on features and extends the successful Q-family. The Audi Q2 is exceptionally spacious and versatile inside; the car blends performance and driving dynamics with practicality for daily usage. I am confident that young buyers who want to join the Audi family early on will be amazed by the performance of this car. As an introductory offer, we are rolling out a ‘Peace of Mind’ benefit that includes a 5 year Comprehensive Service Package with Extended Warranty and Road Side Assistance. This introductory offer will enhance the ease of ownership of the Audi Q2.”
He also added, “2020 has been an exciting year for Audi India despite the unfortunate pandemic and its challenges. As for now, you can book your Q2 at your nearest dealerships or through the company’s official website with a down payment of Rs 2 lakh only. The Q2, has no such direct rivals in the Indian market and it will be launched at an expected price of around Rs 35 lakh, making it the most affordable SUV from the brand.
