Eighth edition of the Audi National Twin Cup concludes in Chennai

The Audi Twin cup is held every year since 1996 internationally and witnesses participation from members of the German brand’s dealer network. The competition tests customer orientation and technical expertise (diagnostics and repair) of the participants. In addition to personal proficiency, the participants’ capability to work as a team is the primary factor to achieve top performance. The Indian leg of the competition witnessed 114 team consisting of 301 Audi dealer technicians and the service advisors from its 33 dealerships fight for the top spot.

Praising the participants of Audi’s eighth National Twin Cup,  Rahil Ansari, head Audi India commented, “The Audi Twin Cup is an initiative to recognize our dealer partners delivering exceptional customer service. We have invested extensively in training our staff and the initiatives over the years for strengthening the service levels has worked brilliantly, with our teams displaying outstanding technical know-how and consistent customer focus. This clearly reflected in the excellent performance of the teams representing Audi India at the recently concluded World championship of the Audi Twin Cup 2018,”

In the fiercely contested eighth edition, the Indian finals saw the Audi Bhubaneswar team exhibit impeccable technical and service skills and won the Technology and Twin category which was introduced for the first time in India and were awarded a prize of Rs. 1 Lakh. The team from Audi Kolkata showcased their expert service skills to grab the title in the Service category at a prize of Rs. 1 Lakh. The team comprising members from Audi Ludhiana, Audi Karnal and Audi Bangalore secured the second rank while the Twin team ranked fifth at the global platform.

The Indian team will be competing in Europe with 70 teams from 38 countries at the World finals in 2019.
