For 2021, the 1200cc Bonneville twin-cylinder engine has been reworked to conform with the stringent Euro5 emissions norms. Despite complying with stricter emission norms, the Scrambler 1200 continues to make 88.7bbhp but this time around, it makes it 150rpm lower at 7250rpm. Even the peak torque at 110Nm remains unchanged but it makes it 550rpm higher at 4500rpm. Other updates include a redesigned exhaust system, which has helped with heat management, something that was a major complaint with the outgoing model.
