Ducati Streetfighter V4 & V4 SP2 engine & chassis

The Streetfighter V4 continues to get the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine churning out 205bhp at 13,000rpm and 123Nm. The chassis however gets some tweaks with the pivot now 4mm higher than the previous version like the 2023 Panigale V4. The Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 interface for the semi-active Ohlins suspension on the Steerfighter V4 S also gets a new tune. The Streetfighter V4 S also benefits from the same lithium-ion battery as found on the V4 SP2 which is 1.7kg lighter than the standard battery.

The Streetfighter V4 SP2 gets the same engine as that of the V4 and V4 S but the braking is improved thanks to the ‘Brembo Stylema R’ front brake callipers and lighter five-spoke carbon rims which are 1.4kg lighter than the forged magnesium rims on the V4 S.

It also gets a new ‘Wet’ riding mode to help the rider control the bike more effectively in places where there is low traction. The new suite also includes an updated engine brake control system. The instrument cluster now gets a new ‘Track Evo’ display mode inspired by the layout used in MotoGP bikes. Ducati has also updated the Ducati Quick Shifter (DQS) to improve the fluidity of the shifts.
