KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track unveiled, limited to 100 units worldwide

KTM has taken the Super Duke family to a new level with the 2026 1390 Super Duke RR Track. This is not a road bike with track bits added on; it is a full track-only machine, built to be lighter, sharper, and more focused with MotoGP technology.

KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track design

The bike looks like a bare-bones weapon because that’s what it is. KTM stripped away all extra body panels and used lots of carbon fiber to slash weight and keep it super lean. The riding position is tuned for racing, with lower handlebars, a reshaped tank for better grip when braking hard, and tons of adjustments for the rider. It has a 17.5-liter fuel tank for perfect balance, a single race seat, and a carbon-fiber belly pan. The frame is unique with unneeded mounts removed to save even more weight. The end result? An aggressive, compact naked bike made purely for smashing lap times, not comfort.

KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track powertrain and chassis

Power comes from KTM’s LC8 V-twin engine, the same basic unit used in the Super Duke R. In this tune, it makes 193bhp at 10,000rpm and 151Nm of torque, while ram-air can push output to around 200bhp. KTM has also used titanium bolts to shave off weight and improve the power-to-weight ratio. The bike also gets a full Akrapovic titanium Evolution Line exhaust, new mapping, and a race air filter for better performance and a deeper exhaust note. It gets the WP Apex pro suspension on the front and rear

KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track features

The RR Track is built for the racetrack, so it gets serious hardware all around. It uses 7-spoke forged magnesium wheels that are 1.5kg lighter than the cast wheels on the standard model, and they are wrapped in Michelin Power Performance Slicks for instant grip. Braking is handled by Brembo GP4-MS front callipers and 320mm discs, plus a rear Brembo P2.34 with a 240mm disc. The chassis is paired with WP Apex Pro suspension at both ends, with plenty of adjustment for serious riders who want a custom setup.

KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track technology

KTM has kept the electronics simple on purpose. Instead of a long list of road-focused aids, the bike gets only the essentials a rider needs on track. The cockpit uses a 4.2-inch full-colour TFT screen with a special interface for its compact size. Riders can switch between a full display and a reduced layout with larger gear and rpm readouts, while the bonded glass and glare reduction coating make it easier to read in bright track conditions.
