Avore Electric has launched its first motorcycle, the Avore Electric EX, and the electric motorcycle is available in three variants, with prices starting from ₹1.24 lakh, ex-showroom. The motorcycle is good for an IDC-certified range of 160-260km (depending on the variant) and is 1500W onboard fast charger across all variants.
Avore Electric EX design
The Avore Electric EX gets contemporary styling touches with its dual-tone paint scheme, signature tank lights and it also comes with manual as well as automatic riding modes. Worth noting is that the motorcycle is based on a purpose-built electric motorcycle architecture and a proprietary technology stack which includes over 9 critical vehicle systems which have been developed entirely in-house at the company’s R&D centre in Ahmedabad, and the tight integration of components results in a clean look for the motorcycle. Coming back to the aesthetics – the EX 2S and EX 2 variants get Starlit Blue Dual Tone, Meteor Red Dual Tone and Stellar Black Dual Tone colour schemes, while the EX 1 gets three single-tone colour options – Starlit Blue, Meteor Red and Stellar Black.
Avore Electric EX powertrain and range
Powering the electric motorcycle is aPermanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), which produces 10bhp to 14bhp of power and 250Nm of torque. The EX 2S has a top speed of 114kmph while the EX 2 and EX 1 are good for 100kmph. The Avore also gets an integrated motor plus swingarm setup engineered to improve weight distribution, structural rigidity and handling dynamics, for greater stability and rider confidence. Boosting performance is the Apex mode and the Syft mode, a manual gear mode giving riders more control over power delivery.
The EX 2S and EX 2 variants of the motorcycle offer an IDC-certified range of 260km and 255 km, respectively, while the EX 1 delivers an IDC-certified range of 160 km. Equipped with a 1500W onboard fast charger across all variants, the EX can be plugged directly into any standard 5A or 15A household socket. Riders can charge the battery from 20 per cent to 80 per cent in approximately 2 hours, while a complete 0 – 100 per cent charge takes around 4 hours.

Prices for the Avore Electric EX start from ₹1.24 lakh onwards and the motorcycle is set to hit showrooms across key Indian cities from next month onwards, with bookings open from ₹799, and customer deliveries scheduled to commence after 2 months.
