Honda expands BigWing line-up with CB750 Hornet E-Clutch, XL750 Transalp E-Clutch, Gold Wing and Fireblade SP
Honda introduces E-Clutch technology on its 755cc platform while reopening bookings for its flagship premium motorcycles
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its premium motorcycle portfolio for 2026 with the introduction of the CB750 Hornet E-Clutch and XL750 Transalp E-Clutch. Alongside the two new models, Honda has also announced the return of the Gold Wing luxury tourer and the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP superbike to its BigWing line-up. Bookings for all four motorcycles are now open across Honda Topline and BigWing dealerships nationwide.
The headline addition is Honda's E-Clutch technology, which makes its debut on the brand's 755cc parallel-twin platform. Designed to reduce rider effort and improve convenience, the system allows clutch-less gear changes while retaining the engagement of a conventional manual transmission.
Honda CB750 Hornet E-Clutch: Price and details
The CB750 Hornet E-Clutch is priced at ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram). Power comes from a 755cc parallel-twin engine producing 90.5bhp and 75Nm of torque. The middleweight naked motorcycle features Showa 41mm SFF-BP upside-down forks, dual 296mm front disc brakes, multiple riding modes and a 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity. With the addition of E-Clutch technology, Honda aims to make the Hornet more accessible while retaining its sporty streetfighter character.
Honda XL750 Transalp E-Clutch: Price and details
Priced at ₹13.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram), the XL750 Transalp E-Clutch shares its 755cc parallel-twin engine with the Hornet, producing the same 90.5bhp and 75Nm outputs. The adventure-touring motorcycle comes equipped with Showa SFF-CA suspension, a 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync, multiple riding modes including Gravel mode, and a distinctive dual-LED headlamp setup. Honda says the addition of E-Clutch technology enhances comfort and usability across city riding, touring and off-road adventures.
Honda Gold Wing gets a new colour for 2026
Honda's flagship luxury tourer returns for 2026 priced at ₹44.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram). While mechanically unchanged, the Gold Wing is now available in a new Gun Metal Black Metallic paint finish. Powering the motorcycle is Honda's iconic 1833cc flat-six engine paired with a seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). Premium features include an electronically adjustable windscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an advanced audio system and an airbag.
Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP remains the flagship superbike
At the top of Honda's performance motorcycle range sits the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, priced at ₹33.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram). The superbike is powered by a 1000cc inline-four engine producing 214.5bhp and 113Nm of torque. Premium hardware includes Öhlins Smart-EC 3.0 electronic suspension, Brembo Stylema front brake calipers, an Akrapovič titanium exhaust and a full-colour TFT instrument cluster.
