Honda XR300 L and XR300 Rally launched in India
Honda’s XR300 L and XR300 Rally will take the fight to the Xpulse 210 and the Kawasaki KLX 230, with prices starting from ₹1.83 lakh

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has finally launched the XR300 L and XR300 Rally dirt bikes in India. Honda claims both bikes are dual-purpose, being capable off-road machines while still being a joy for everyday riding.
The XR300 L is priced at ₹1.83 lakh; it is powered by the same 293cc air- and oil-cooled engine that was previously seen on the CB300F, which is expected to produce 26.9bhp and 26.6Nm of torque. It gets a smaller fuel tank compared to the Rally but retains the same chassis layout, long-travel suspension and discs at both ends. It gets 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres. It gets switchable ABS and traction control, with a basic LCD instrument cluster. It is available in two colour options: Extreme Red and Sashta White, respectively.
The XR300 Rally has a slightly more substantial appearance compared to the XR300 L, courtesy of the larger fuel tank and more ADV-esque tank shrouds, knuckle guards and taller windscreen. It sits on the same chassis and suspension setup as the XR300L, and is powered by the same 293cc engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It also gets switchable dual-channel ABS and traction control, although it does get an upgraded TFT instrument cluster. It is available in two colourways: Extreme Red and True Black, respectively.
The XR300 L and XR300 Rally are priced at ₹1.83 lakh and ₹2.08 lakh. Bookings are now open at all Honda BigWing dealerships. It is rivalled by the Kawasaki KLX 230 and Xpulse 210, which are priced at ₹1.68 lakh and ₹2.19 lakh respectively.
