India’s largest biking fest, India Bike Week is back this year and promises to be a lot more fun than ever. To be held in Goa on December 6 and 7, the sixth India Bike Week promises to have 40 per cent more biking content than the previous events and for the first time will feature bike racing events as well. So here’s why you should sign up, if you haven't already:
For the first time, IBW will host flat track timed trials on a track designed by Vijay Singh of Rajputana Customs. Participants will be given custom-built flat track Harley-Davidson 750s for the event. The top three riders will be awarded with cash prizes. If flat-tracking is not your scene, you might want to check the Enduro Hill Climb, organized by School of Dirt. If you want to learn the art of riding off-road, Big Rock Dirt park is going to be there to give an hour-long training on a specially designed enduro track. Then there’s moto mob, an event that involves two riders per team and stripped-down motorcycles.
This year’s India Bike Week will be attended by KTM stunt athlete RokBagoros, TVS Racing’s Aishwarya Pissay, Rajni Krishnan, Simran King, AshishRaorane and the team of FMX 4 Ever. Panel discussion on career and future of motorsport in India will also be conducted.
Dr. Maral Yazarloo Pattrick, Neharika Yadav, Anam Hashim, Sonia Jain along with Sanika Mehta will be part of a panel discussion talking about biking and maintaining work life balance. A bunch of popular YouTubers will also be present and talk about their rides and experiences.
