Oben Electric launches the Rorr Evo at an introductory price of ₹99,999

India’s electric motorcycle space just got a serious new contender. Oben Electric has unveiled the all-new Rorr EVO, a streetfighter-style electric motorcycle aimed at blending performance, practicality and everyday usability into one package. Introduced at a special introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers, the Rorr EVO promises strong performance figures, smart connected features and a focus on real-world riding.

Oben Electric Rorr Evo Performance, battery and charging

The Rorr EVO is powered by a proprietary 9kW IP68-rated motor paired to a newly developed single-stage chain drive setup. Oben says the motorcycle can sprint from 0-40km/h in 3 seconds, hit a top speed of 110km/h and deliver a claimed IDC range of 180km.

Power comes from Oben’s in-house developed 3.4kWh LFP battery pack. The company claims the battery offers better thermal resistance and twice the lifecycle compared to conventional lithium-ion battery setups. The battery is housed within a high-strength aluminium structure and comes with an 8-year warranty.

Charging times are competitive too, with the Rorr EVO capable of charging from 0-80 per cent in 90 minutes using Oben’s fast charger. It also gets an onboard charger for convenient everyday charging.

Oben Electric Rorr Evo SmartIQ AI ride mode

One of the biggest highlights of the Rorr EVO is the introduction of SmartIQ, Oben’s new AI-powered ride mode. The system analyses riding patterns in real time and optimises power delivery to improve efficiency, with Oben claiming up to 15 per cent more range. The idea is to make the riding experience smoother and more efficient without the rider having to constantly switch ride modes or manually manage efficiency.

While the styling is aggressive and muscular, Oben has also focused heavily on practicality. The Rorr EVO gets a long 680mm single-piece seat and a relatively accessible 780mm seat height. Ground clearance stands at 200mm, while water-wading capability is rated at 230mm. One standout feature is the claimed 10 litres of storage — combining under-seat and tank storage — along with dual USB charging ports. Oben says this is a first for a motorcycle in the segment. The bike also gets reverse mode to make parking manoeuvres easier.

Oben Electric Rorr Evo Safety and connectivity features

The Rorr EVO gets a 5-inch TFT display with navigation, call and music alerts and ride data. Through the Oben Electric app, riders can access ride history, geo-fencing, theft protection, remote diagnostics and Find My Rorr functionality. Safety tech includes Fall Alert with Emergency Assist, Unified Brake Assist (UBA), Driver Alert System (DAS) and a wider rear tyre for better stability.

Oben Electric Rorr Evo Colours, bookings and deliveries

The Oben Rorr EVO will be available in four colours, Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black and Photon White. Bookings have opened at ₹777, while test rides and customer deliveries are scheduled to begin from June 2026 across Oben’s 150 showrooms nationwide. After the introductory offer for the first 10,000 customers, the motorcycle will be priced at ₹1.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
