Oben Electric, the Indian electric bike OEM, has launched the updated and improved Rorr EZ Sigma at an introductory launch price of ₹1.27 lakh for the 3.4kWh variant and ₹1.37 lakh for the 4.4kWh variant. The prices without the special launch offer will be ₹1.47 and ₹1.55 lakh respectively (all prices are ex-showroom). Here’s a look at everything that is new on this Oben Electric bike.

The Roar EZ now features a new design for its seat which is claimed to be more comfortable and supportive. It also gets new body graphics and gets a new ‘Electric Red’ paint colour in addition to the previously available options — Photon White, Electro Amber and Surge Cyan.

Oben Electric Rorr EZ Sigma performance, battery and range
The Rorr EZ Sigma comes in two variants offering a 3.4kWh LFP battery pack with up to 140km of claimed IDC range and a 4.4kWh LFP battery pack with up to 175km of claimed IDC range. Both variants have identical peak output figures of 10bhp and 286Nm going to the wheels. It has a top speed of 95kmph and it does 0-40kmph in 3.3 seconds.

This new electric bike gets a 5-inch colour TFT display which has built-in navigation, real-time alerts for calls and messages. The proprietary LFP battery pack gets an aluminium die-cast casing and IP67 weather protection. It also gets a reverse mode for added convenience in congested scenarios and fast charging that charges from 0 to 80 per cent in 1 hour and 30 minutes (3.4kWh) and 2 hours (4.4kWh).

The Rorr EZ Sigma is a new variant of the already promising Rorr EV. It now comes with a choice of two battery sizes and a slew of feature upgrades such as the new digital cluster and redesigned seats as well as new body graphics. This new variant competes with rivals like Ola Roadster X, Revolt RV400 and Matter Aera 5000. At present the Rorr EZ Sigma electric bike is priced at ₹1.27 lakh and ₹1.37 lakh for the 3.4kWh and 4.4kWh battery pack variants respectively. However, prices after the expiry of the launch offer will be ₹1.47 lakh and ₹1.55 lakh respectively (all prices are ex-showroom). It comes with a battery warranty of 8 years or 80,000 kilometres. The bookings open from August 5 for ₹2,999 and deliveries start from August 15.
