Ola S1 and S1 Pro sales are live

Customers can get their Ola S1 and S1 Pro from October 2021 with batches being prioritised as per reservation dates

Ola Electric has announced that their customers can now purchase the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooter. The purchasing process will be entirely digital and orders for the Ola S1 scooters can be placed exclusively through Ola Electric’s mobile app. Hence, the EV manufacturer is asking its customers to install the latest version of the app.

How to purchase the Ola S1 electric scooter

When the scooter will be in stocks, there will be a purchase window for the customers who have made a reservation and Ola will notify them via an email, SMS or push notification to open the app for the next procedure. Customers can then buy the scooter anytime in this purchase window.

While buying, you can select the variant and opt for the colour of your choice from the 10 available options. The order can be customised if you reconsider this step.

After you have selected the scooter, the next step is payment. And Ola is asking for a refundable advance of Rs 20,000 and you have to pay the rest before the delivery for both the scooters. There is an EMI option if you wish to pay in instalments.

The insurance can be done through Ola Financial Services and there is a mandatory five years’ third party insurance which is required for the registration procedure. And then there are add-ons such as personal accident cover, zero depreciation and roadside assistance cover.

After placing the order you will receive a notification regarding the estimated delivery time within 72 hours. The deliveries will begin in October 2021 and so are the test rides for the S1 and S1 Pro. And if you change your mind after the test ride and cancel the order, that advance you paid is completely refundable. But the cancellation is allowed only till the scooter’s shipment from the factory.
