Royal Enfield Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition
Limited to just 625 units worldwide, it features colour-shifting paint, exclusive badging and hand-painted pinstripes.
Royal Enfield is celebrating 125 years of motorcycling with a special edition of the Classic 650. Called the Hypershift Classic 650, the anniversary edition is priced at ₹4.26 lakh (ex-showroom) and is limited to just 625 units globally, with 125 allocated to India. And while the mechanicals remain unchanged, the motorcycle gets a rather interesting visual makeover.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition: What’s special?
The biggest highlight is the Hypershift paint finish, which changes between shades of red, green and gold depending on the angle of light. Inspired by 120 historic Royal Enfield colourways, the paint incorporates a brass base as a nod to the brand’s heritage. There’s also a gilded 125 Years crest, hand-painted pinstripes, a commemorative cannon decal on the fuel tank and a quilted brown leather seat. The engine gets a matte-black finish to complete the look.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition: Engine and performance
Underneath the special paintwork sits the familiar 648cc parallel-twin engine producing 46.4bhp and 52.3Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The suspension and other mechanical components remain unchanged from the standard Classic 650.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition: Price and bookings
Priced at ₹4,25,589 (ex-showroom), the anniversary edition is restricted to just 125 motorcycles in India. Registrations opened on October 16, with sales scheduled to begin on October 28, 2026, at 7pm IST, exclusively through the Royal Enfield app. With such limited numbers, this Classic 650 is aimed squarely at collectors and Royal Enfield enthusiasts who want a piece of the brand’s 125-year history.
