Simple Energy launches the Ultra with a 400km range at ₹2.35 lakh
The Ultra is Simple Energy’s longest-range electric scooter and features a 6.5kWh battery

Simple Energy has just launched its longest range electric scooter dubbed the One Ultra. As the name suggests, it’s based on the One platform and sits at the top-end with an ex-showroom price of ₹2.35 lakh. Let’s see what else it gets.
2026 Simple One Ultra design and features
As stated above, the Ultra is based on the One and features a very similar design. It’s striking, with sharp lines and angular surfaces. With the new One launched earlier this year, the brand has tweaked the design to be more aerodynamic, including slimmer mirrors and a slightly cleaner rear section. The front had been made more aerodynamic with two airways targeted at cooling the cluster screen. The entire console and switchgear were also redesigned to make them more intuitive to use. The One Ultra also continues with a 7-inch TFT display with mobile connectivity. While dimensions weren’t revealed, it should be close to the Simple One, which has a 780mm high seat and a 35-litre boot.
2026 Simple One Ultra battery and performance
The Ultra is powered by a 6.5kWh battery pack – the biggest in the range and offers a claimed IDC range of 400km, making it the longest-range electric scooter currently from the brand, and in the country. The scooter has a top speed of 115kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 2.77 seconds.
2026 Simple Ultra price and rivals
The Ultra is priced at ₹2.35 lakh (ex-showroom). It sits at the top-end in the brand’s lineup, both of which were updated earlier this year. As for the rivals, it competes with the Ather 450X, TVS iQube ST, and Ola S1 Pro.
