TVS Motor Company India launches TVS Orbiter with prices starting from ₹99,900.
TVS Motor Company has launched their latest EV scooter at a starting price of ₹99,900 with a host of equipment such as cruise control, hill hold assist and suite of app-based connected features. It follows a futuristic and industrial design language with a colour-blocked paint scheme. Powered by a 3.1kWh battery pack, the Orbit is capable of an IDC claimed range of 158km. Here’s a rundown of everything it offers.

This latest commuter from TVS features angular shapes and flat surfaces. The front gets a tall visor above the cowl with the main LED headlight unit. There’s a wrap-around LED lightbar DRL along with a rear lightbar that blends in with the gloss black trim on the sides. The Orbiter also features quirky and technical body graphics with a vertically aligned ‘Orbiter’ branding in a bold script upfront. The front 290mm floorboard is rectangular and flat for comfort. The seat follows suit with its 845mm length is long and flat, doing away with any contours. It also gets a 14-inch wheel at the front and 12-inch wheel at the rear. TVS Orbiter has a 169mm ground clearance and comes in six colours — Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper.

The Orbiter gets a plethora of latest gear like cruise control, hill hold assist, parking assist (reverse function). Additionally, it gets a suite of app-based connected features — crash and fall detection, anti-theft, geo-fencing and time-fencing alerts. It has a colour LCD instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation, calls and SMS notifications.

It is powered by a 3.1kWh battery pack that is capable of an IDC tested range of 158km. The Orbiter also gets two riding modes — Eco and Power mode along with regenerative braking for maximum efficiency.

The TVS Orbiter has been launched at a starting price of ₹99,900 (ex-showroom) and goes up against the newly launched Kinetic DX that is priced at ₹1.11 lakh and offers similar features to the Orbiter.
