Ultraviolette Automotive lowers the entry-point to its first touring electric bike, the X-47 Crossover with 'Battery as a Service' offer. It gets a 40 per cent price cut on its original ex-showroom price of ₹2.5 lakh, bringing it down to ₹1.49 lakh. This ‘Battery Flex’ offer enables owners to rent the battery pack for a monthly sum of ₹2499. At the end of the rental period, the ownership of the battery will be transferred to the owner at no additional cost. The X-47’s 10.3kWh pack is also protected with a 5-year battery warranty.
This offer has been made available with an interest to widen the scope of accessibility of the X-47 and to promote an environmentally responsible mode of personal mobility – a notion shared by Ecofy, which is a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) with a climate-positive focus has partnered up with Ultraviolette Automotive to provide the ‘Battery as a Service’ (BaaS) option on the Utraviolette X-47 Crossover.

The bike is rated for an IDC claimed range of 323km and put out 39.4bhp and 100Nm of torque. It sprints from 0 to 100kmph in a claimed 8.1 seconds and tops-off at 145kmph. Additionally, it packs a host of ADAS features such as blind spot monitoring, lane change assist, overtake alert and rear collision warning. It also gets nine levels of brake regeneration, four levels of traction control switchable dual-channel ABS.
