VLF Strada launched in India at ₹1.2 lakh
The VLF Strada will be available in two variants, with the main difference lying in the battery performance and range.

Motohaus and VLF have launched the Strada in India with prices beginning at ₹1.2 lakh for the City variant, and the Max variant beginning at ₹1.5 lakh, the latter offering better range. Aimed at improving daily commutes, the Strada is also loaded with features, including the option to swap the battery. Here is a more detailed look into the VLF Strada.
VLF Strada design and dimensions
Design-wise, the Strada comes off as rather aggressive, with sharp detailing completed via an all-LED lighting setup. Adding to the same are dynamic turn indicators.
Its wheelbase spans 1370mm with a 780mm seat height. Adding further to the simple design is a mere 98kg kerb weight of the Strada. At the front is a 16-inch alloy wheel, and the rear follows a similar philosophy with a 14-inch wheel.
Ensuring safety is a 240mm three-piston calliper front brake with CBS, and at the rear the same brake is a 220mm disc with a two-piston calliper with CBS.
The VLF Strada is built on a high-tensile tubular steel frame, with a 31mm Telescopic hydraulic suspension in the front, and a 75mm dual shock absorber at the rear.
VLF Strada performance
The BLDC Hub Motor in the VLF Strada ensures a peak power of 4.8kW with 34Nm of peak torque. It has been given an IP67 rating, and the speed tops at 85kmph in sport mode; meanwhile, the Eco mode brings down the top speed to just 45kmph.
It features an LFP battery, whose power and capacity depend on the variant. The City variant has a single-battery setup with 2.16kWh power and 30Ah capacity. Meanwhile, the Strada Max has a dual-battery, 4.32kWh setup with 60Ah capacity.
The claimed IDC range sits at 130km for the Strada City; meanwhile, for the Max variant, VLF claims 250km.
VLF Strada features
The VLF Strada is loaded with safety equipment, including an anti-theft key system, retractable footpegs, and both front and rear brakes equipped with a combi brake system (CBS).
The VLF Strada features a swappable battery pack
Meanwhile, a five-inch TFT display (which can be used to switch between three driving modes), full-LED lighting system, dynamic turn indicators, grabrail with top box mount, USB charging, and swappable battery pack come standard. It also features keyless entry.
The VLF Strada is available in four different colours: Carbonio Black, Titanio Grey, Urbano Silver, and Luna White. The pricing begins at ₹1.2 lakh for the City variant; meanwhile, the Strada Max begins at ₹1.55 lakh (ex-showroom).
