Yamaha India India has officially launched the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid starting from ₹76,500 onwards and now it comes with a handful of design changes. The Fascino remains one of the few hybrid scooters for sale in the Indian market currently. Originally launched in 2015, it transitioned to a hybrid scooter in 2021, becoming Yamaha’s first such offering.

The main focus of the design change is in the rear section of the scooter. Yamaha has aimed at making it into a more compact and modern design. The tail section has been slightly reimagined. Along with this, the taillights and indicators have also been changed to represent a more distinctive V-shape. In addition to the hardware changes, decals have also been added to the quarter panels to improve the overall aesthetics of the hybrid two-wheeler. In terms of colors, the Fascino Drum is available in Vivid Red, Metallic Black, and Metallic White. The Fascino Disc gets Cool Blue Metallic, Metallic Light Green and Dark Matte Blue. The Fascino S, which is the top variant, gets Matte Grey and Matte Black.

The heart of the Fascino remains the same. It is powered by a hybrid 125cc air-cooled and fuel-injected 4-stroke SOHC 2-valve engine. It is coupled to a mild-hybrid system, a Smart Motor Generator. The Fascino has an output of 8bhp and 10.3Nm of torque.

The Fascino comes equipped with telescopic suspension, a side-stand engine cutoff and 21 liters of underseat storage. It also has a Silent Start and a Stop-and-Start System (SSS). If you opt for the top-end variant, the Fascino S, a coloured TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation and the Answer Back function for locating the vehicle.

The Fascino's base has increased by ₹1,500. Now, it is available in three variants: Fascino Drum at ₹76,500, Fascino Disc at ₹88,000, and Fascino S at ₹95,200. The only other competitor to the Fascino is Yamaha’s own RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid, which comes in two variants – RayZR Drum at ₹74,960 and RayZR Disc at ₹81,560.
