BMW M Drift Academy returns to India and is much bigger than its successful debut in April 2025 in Thane West, Maharashtra. The 2026 academy days will be hosted in four major Indian cities – Bengaluru, between April 4 to 5 at Manpho Convention Centre; Hyderabad, between April 11 to 12 at Prasad Multiplex; Chennai, from April 18 to 19 2026 at Island Ground, and Delhi, between May 1 to 3 at Container Depot Ground, Okhla. Learn pro-grade drifting from professionals in BMW M cars – M2 and M4

It’s an initiative to bring BMW fans closer to the art and action of drifting albeit carried out in a safe and responsible manner. Participants will get a first-hand experience of the sport and will be put in the driver’s seat of cherished BMW M cars – M2 and M4 to not only feel the driving pleasure but to also hone the pro-grade skills such as Controlling a Drift, Throttle Control, Maintaining a Drift, Exiting a Drift, Half Circle Drift, Exiting a Half Circle Drift with style, Full Circle Drift, Maintaining a Full Circle Drift (clockwise and anticlockwise) and Transition Drifting on a Figure 8. All of this will be imparted by trained BMW professionals. The meritorious lot of participants will stand to earn the prestigious Drift Pilot badge of honour, which is also a stepping stone towards stepping up to become a Drift Marshal.

Registrations are open via all the Indian authorised BMW dealerships as well as online on the District app. The enrolment fee is ₹1 lakh and the slots are limited in order to keep the training sessions a worthwhile motorsport excursion. All the drifting goodness will be followed by a BMW M After Party – an epicentre of booming music, exquisite food and high-strung drift shows by drift pros to celebrate the M Spirit, tickets for which can also be booked via District.
