Brabus 1300 R Masterpiece edition unveiled, only 50 to be produced
Brabus and KTM have unveiled the Brabus 1300 R Masterpiece Edition. This exclusive motorcycle is limited to only 50 units worldwide and is available in two striking colourways: Onyx Black and Diamond White, both with Frozen Gold accents.
The Brabus 1300 R Masterpiece Edition is built on the foundation of the KTM 1290 Super Duke R Evo and features the KTM LC8 V-twin engine, which produces 177bhp at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 140Nm at 8,000 rpm. It has a 0-100kmph acceleration time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 270kmph.
A WP Apex semi-active suspension system with automatic and manual adjustment modes handles the suspension duties. A WP Apex Pro steering damper is standard, as are Brembo Stylema 4-piston callipers with 320mm floating rotors at the front and a Brembo 2-piston calliper with a single 240mm disc at the rear, ride modes, quickshifter, cornering and supermoto ABS, and adaptive brake light.
The Masterpiece Edition is undeniably exclusive, with only 25 units of each colour available. Brabus has added more carbonfibre components to increase the allure, including a single-sided swingarm cover, dash cover, connector cover, and rear side fairing covers, to an extensive list of carbon elements extending from the headlight to the taillight.
The Brabus 1300 R Masterpiece Edition is distinguished by a large round Brabus LED headlight, side fairings with MotoGP-inspired winglets, a front spoiler, and a tail with a single seat and licence plate bracket. The Brabus Monoblock Z 'Gold Platinum' wheels are forged alloy units made specifically for this bike. Other Brabus-made features include a CNC triple clamp, adjustable CNC brake and clutch levers, CNC aluminium brake and clutch reservoir caps, adjustable CNC foot pegs, bar end mirrors, and a slip-on dual exhaust with Frozen Gold accent rings.
The heated grips and seat, which feature an exclusive Brabus leather quilted 'Diamond Rising' pattern are also on offer. A special Brabus 1300 R Masterpiece badge on the seat pad, a custom-made Brabus indoor motorcycle cover, a floor mat, and a carbon key box round out the package.
In addition to their prized new motorcycle, purchasers of the Brabus 1300 R Masterpiece Edition will receive a reserved company tour of the Brabus headquarters in Bottrop, Germany.
