Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ design
Visually, the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ is based on the standard EQS but in typical AMG fashion, it gets a bunch of visual cues like the new grille, AMG steering wheel, 21-inch wheels with bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport EV tyres, red brake callipers and many more set it apart as an AMG model.

The EQS 53 AMG is powered by two permanent magnet synchronous motors, one on each axle, and gets a total power output of 649bhp and 950Nm of torque. With the AMG Dynamic Plus package, the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ propels itself from 0-100kmph in just 3.4 seconds and maxes out at a top speed of 250kmph. The AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ features a 107.8kWh battery pack and gets an 11kW AC charger as standard, while a 22kW AC charger will be available as an optional extra. With its capacity, the EQS 53 4Matic+ has the biggest battery available on an EV in India. It is also compatible with 200kW fast charging and gets a range of 300 kilometres in a 19-minute charge. The total range is 529 to 586 kilometres on the WLTP cycle.
The AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ gets all-wheel drive, AMG ride control suspension with adaptive suspension damping and rear-axle steering. The rear-axle beam has been reengineered, while the sub-frame and motor mountings are completely new. The AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ also receives a revised transverse stabilizer, wheel carriers, and control arms that have been carried over from other AMG models. Also on offer are five AMG Dynamic Select driving modes to alter the characteristics of the car, named Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual.
