Are you faster than a Skoda Octavia vRS 245?
In a first-of-its-kind initiative in the automotive industry, Skoda Auto India along with Twitter has launched a new online game called the ‘Speed Challenge' where you can win Skoda merchandise if you type out a given sentence faster than it takes for the Skoda Octavia vRS 245 to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph.
The Speed Challenge starts when you start typing a given sentence while there is a vRS 245 accelerating to 100kmph in the background. After 6.6 seconds, which is the 0-100kmph time of the Skoda Octavia vRS 245, the results will be displayed along with the option to replay or tweet the score. The top scorers will be featured on Skoda Auto India’s social media platforms and the winners who successfully finish the game on time will get Skoda merchandise. This week-long collaboration between Skoda and Twitter will conclude on December 21.

The Skoda Octavia vRS has always been a bit of a favourite at evo India because of the best of both worlds combo of being super fun and practical at the same time. The Octavia vRS gets a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which makes 241bhp and 370Nm of torque making it an absolute weapon. As mentioned, it can do the 0-100kmph in just 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 250kmph. Mind you, it achieves all these numbers while offering seating to a family of four and a spacious boot for their luggage.
