Tata Punch launched at ₹5.59 lakh

With over 6 lakh units sold since October 2021, the Tata Punch now gets a facelift and prices start from ₹5.59 lakhs. With this new facelift, the Punch gets a refreshed exterior, feature packed interior and new engine and drivetrain options. Here’s what you need to know about the 2026 Tata Punch.

Tata Punch facelift design

As compared to the earlier model, the new Punch gets an updated set of DRLs which make it stand out from the competitors, a new front bull guard bumper with a 3D front grill. Moving to the side, the Punch still has the boxy silhouette now with a new design for the R16 alloy wheels. At the rear it gets an all new connected tail lamp and with all these updates the Punch continues to look fresh. The Punch now comes in 4 new colours, Cyantific, Caramel, Bengal Rouge and Coorg Clouds.

Tata Punch interior and features

Step into the new Punch and you will be greeted with a new 26.03cm infotainment system and a digital cockpit. As in the Harrier and the Safari, the Punch also now gets Tata Motors' new two-spoke steering wheel. The Punch is now packed with features including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360 HD surround view camera with blind view monitor, 65W fast charger, ambient light and iRA connected car technology with 45+ connected car features.

Tata Punch facelift engines

Tata Motors now introduces a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine in the Punch which produces 118bhp and 170Nm of torque which is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Tata claims the Punch can do a 0-100kmph in 11.1 seconds. The other new drivetrain option that has been introduced is the iCNG 1.2-litre Revotron CNG engine with an AMT which is a first in the segment. The third engine option is the Petrol 1.2-litre Revotron Engine mated to a manual or AMT transmission.

Tata Punch safety

Like the previous model, the 2026 Tata Punch has also been rated as a 5-star Bharat NCAP vehicle. The Punch comes with six airbags, ESP, hill descent control, and ISOFIX mounts as standard across all variants.

Tata Punch pricing

The Punch facelift prices start from ₹5.59 lakh for the entry level Petrol MT variant and going all the way up to ₹9.29 lakh for the top-end CNG MT. The iTurbo introductory prices start from ₹8.29 lakh (Adventure Persona variant). The Tata Punch goes up against rivals like the Hyundai Exter, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor and the Citroen C3.
