The all-new Toyota Hilux has been launched in India, and prices for the new Hilux start from ₹31.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Hilux is based on Toyota’s IMV platform which also underpins the Toyota Innova and Toyota Fortuner. The Hilux will be offered in three variants with deliveries to begin early next month.

2026 Toyota Hilux design
The latest Toyota Hilux has been designed as per what Toyota calls the ‘Tough & Agile’ concept and that can be visually seen when you compare the latest Hilux to the one it replaces. The front end is now bolder and is claimed to draw inspiration from what Toyota refers to as ‘Cyber Sumo’ concept, with a newly designed front bumper with piano black accents, LED headlamps with a welcome function and LED fog lamps. The remainder of the design is identical to what we had seen during the global unveil of this Hilux generation, all of which makes for a contemporary looking product from Toyota.

2026 Toyota Hilux interior and features
In terms of the interior, the new Toyota Hilux is equipped with soft-touch upholstery and metallic accents, while the steering wheel can be adjusted for rake as well as reach. Other features on the new Hilux include 60:40 split rear seats, park assist, wireless charging for your smartphone, cruise control, a PM2.5 air filter, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as an 8-speaker audio system.
2026 Toyota Hilux engine
Powering the new Hilux is a 2.8-litre BS6 Phase 2-compliant diesel engine that produces 201bhp of power and 500Nm of torque, and each variant of the new Hilux is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The new Hilux is the first to be offered with the option of a 4x2 variant alongside the 4x4-equipped variant, the latter getting an Electronic Differential Lock and Downhill Assist Control for better off-roading prowess.

Prices for the all-new Hilux start from ₹31.99 lakh for the 4x2 GX, while the 4x4-equipped Hilux range starts from ₹33.69 lakhs and ends at ₹36.69 lakh for the top of the line variant.
