Ceer Exobot looks like a concept, but isn’t

You probably haven’t heard of Ceer. That’s because it is Saudi Arabia’s first venture into making cars, and the Exobot is their first car. They were showcased on September 21, 2026, in sedan and SUV body styles. At first glance, the cars look like they are still at the concept stage, because the designers have taken a different approach to this car, keeping local challenges and requirements in mind along with having a modern design.

The cars will be produced at the largest automotive production facility in the Middle East, in Saudi Arabia, and the company plans on having a seven-car portfolio by 2030. Here are more details about the Exobot.

Ceer Exobot sedan and SUV design

The Exobot sedan and SUV both feature a wedge-like profile, with a windscreen which Ceer claims is the largest fitted to a passenger vehicle, coming in at 2.4m long. It will also feature a reflective coating to reduce the amount of solar heat entering the cabin, considering the Saudi Arabian climate. The front end features an illuminated LED bar at the front.

Both body types receive large 3-metre-long doors which open upwards and sit on forged lightweight aluminium wheels with triangular spokes. First edition cars will also feature red brake callipers along with two exterior paint options: Harrat Grey and White Musk.

The interior sports a massive 48-inch pillar-to-pillar 8K display and an 8-inch screen for the rear passengers. The Exobot also gets steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering. The centre console gets a mixture of physical buttons and digital controls courtesy of the 10.4-inch touchscreen.

First edition variants will receive black and red Nappa leather seats with a ‘First Edition’ emblem in the headrest, along with bespoke floor mats and a First Edition plaque.

Ceer Exobot sedan and SUV powertrain and battery

The Exobot features a tri-motor all-wheel drive setup which produces 1095bhp and 1500Nm in its highest configuration. The sedan can do the 0-100kmph sprint in 2.1 seconds with a top speed of 250kmph, while the SUV does so in 2.4 seconds with a top speed of 210kmph. The Exobot sedan has a claimed range of 670km on the NEDC cycle, and Ceer claims it charges from 10 to 80 per cent in 30 minutes. The Exobot SUV has a claimed range of 560km on the NEDC cycle and charges from 10 to 80 per cent in 30 minutes. Both models receive a 112kWh battery.

Ceer has secured partnerships with BMW, Hyundai and Rimac. It aims to achieve 45 per cent local content in its cars by 2034 and has designed and engineered its vehicles to suit the region-specific requirements of Saudi Arabia and its surrounding region. As of writing, Ceer has plans to sell the Exobot in the Gulf region, with deliveries starting from early 2027 and pricing to be announced shortly. The brand has not confirmed if they will be available in other markets.
