Hyundai Concept Three unveiled at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich

Hyundai Motors unveiled its all-electric Concept Three at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich. This is Hyundai’s first compact EV under the IONIQ sub-brand. The Art of Steel technology is a new division in the Hyundai Motors, Moonbeam yellow interior, customisable widgets, AI character assist, Mr. Pix, and latest tech upgrades.

Hyundai Concept Three Design

The Hyundai Concept Three utilises Hyundai’s new Art of Steel design. It features smooth, curved panels and distinctive Pixel LED lights on the front and rear, with the Hyundai logo integrated on the bonnet. The car has an aerodynamic shape called Aero Hatch, with a large ducktail spoiler, yellow-tinted glass, and matching colour wheels. The large wheels and design hints suggest sporty handling, contributing to the car’s aerodynamic design. The steering wheel has a flat design on the top and bottom. It’s 4,287mm long, 1,428mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,722mm, which comes close to the Volkswagen ID.3, Kia EV3, Cupra Born, Renault 5 E-Tech Electric, and Mini. Use of eco-friendly materials like recycled wool, plastics, and lightweight aluminum foam.

Hyundai Concept Three Features

The Bring Your Own Lifestyle (BYOL) module in the car allows drivers to customize their in-car experience by bringing and mounting their own devices or widgets. This feature offers a flexible, personalized space where users can tailor the car’s technology and functions to their lifestyle and preferences, rather than relying on fixed, built-in screens or controls. It emphasizes simplicity, personalization, and making the cabin feel more like an extension of the owner’s daily life. An interactive AI character will make the use of these widgets more user-friendly. Mr. Pix is integrated throughout to make the car more easily accessible for navigation, infotainment, climate control, and more. Physical buttons remain for key functions like air conditioning and volume. It also gets speakers in the headrests for better acoustics, rear speakers that resemble exhaust pipes that can simulate engine sound, especially in city traffic overtakes.

Hyundai plans to launch this compact EV as part of its European electrification strategy, and there is no news whether this will be launched in India as well
