India’s automotive enthusiasm has moved far beyond static displays and velvet ropes. What today’s enthusiasts want is movement, sound and participation, and Generation Speed is fast becoming the festival that delivers exactly that.

Returning for its second edition on February 7 and 8, 2026, Generation Speed once again takes over the Aamby Valley Air Strip, setting the stage for two days of pure motoring indulgence.

Created by the team behind India Bike Week, the festival’s debut in 2025 proved there was room and demand for an authentic automotive gathering. One that respects heritage, embraces performance and puts community at its core. The 2026 edition builds on that foundation with greater ambition and a broader canvas.

At the heart of the festival is a carefully curated display of 200 of the greatest cars in India, spread across distinct categories. Classic sports cars take pride of place alongside Indian motorsport’s race-winning machines, rare supercars and exotics, and extreme modified builds that showcase the creativity of the tuning scene in the country. Importantly, these cars won’t be confined to static display, they’ll be seen running down the speedway, standing true to Generation Speed’s belief that cars are meant to be driven.

Action remains central to the whole event. The programme includes a GS Drift Competition judged by FIA-affiliated officials, FMSCI-affiliated Autocross racing, quarter-mile time trials, GS Drag Races, mud drags for off-roaders and the always competitive Tuner Wars. For those keen to sharpen their skills, Generation Speed Schools return with structured drift, rally and 4x4 training programmes led by experienced professionals.

As the sun dips behind the Sahyadris, the festival seamlessly shifts gears. DJ-led evenings, after-parties and relaxed social spaces create an atmosphere that feels as much about community as machinery, supported by food trucks, curated F&B partners and the Big Forkers Grill Fest. With dedicated family activities, Generation Speed remains accessible without losing its edge. For two days in February, Aamby Valley becomes the beating heart of Indian motoring.
