Lamborghini Revuelto SV preview: Hockenheimring’s ‘Fastest Production Car’

Lamborghini is all-set to present to the world its latest ‘SV’ supercar model on August 14, at The Quail, during the Monterey Car Week 2026 in California, USA. The Revuelto SV has already begun making strides in the motoring world by recording the 'Fastest Production Car' lap time of 1:41.6 around the Hockenheimring circuit in Germany, piloted by Marco Mapelli, Lamborghini Factory & Test Driver.
The car appears to be disguised under a pre-production-esque camouflage livery, but the changes to the bodywork are still peeking through. The big radiator openings at the front now have diagonal beams going through them, bridging the headlight cluster to the lower front splitter section. It gives an illusion of two arrows pointing inwards. Nothing peculiar grabs the attention in profile though. Carrying the ‘SV’ tradition forward is the newly appointed fixed rear wing which has a set of perforations in the flanks to channel the air in a controlled manner.
Marco Mapelli, Lamborghini Factory & Test Driver, Lamborghini described the experience from the ’wheel by, “The Revuelto SV has reached a level of performance we had never experienced before at Lamborghini.” The Sant’Agata Bolognese-based automaker undertook this exercise to set up and establish the latest iteration of its ‘SV’ model as a thorough-bred performance tool to cater to the likes of professional racing drivers around technical circuits as well as the enthu-cutlet, weekend drivers on the public tarmac.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini also shared his enthusiasm ahead of the world premiere of the new SV, “The new Revuelto SV represents an extraordinary expression of our vision for a Lamborghini super sports car.
