Mahindra BE 6 SportEQ launched at ₹11.45 lakh
The Mahindra BE 6 SportEQ brings in more variants and equipment as standard on the e-SUV
As a part of its Independence Day bonanza, Mahindra has launched the Mahindra BE 6 SportEQ with prices for the electric SUV starting from ₹11.45 lakh for the BaaS variant. The SportEQ range brings with it a lot more kit as standard, chief among them being a triple-screen setup inside the cabin as opposed to the earlier dual-screen setup and software-defined updates which will also be rolled out to the existing owners of the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S e-SUVS in phases from January 2027. Deliveries for the SportEQ range start from August 26, 2026. The SportEQ gets a series of updates to the design and the equipment and will be available across eight variants with 12 colour options which include four new paint schemes.
Mahindra BE 6 SportEQ features
Depending on the variants, the BE 6 will now be available with six new features via OTA software updates including TEQ_Talk with 100 functions, built with Google Gemini which is a conversational companion, TEQ_Play which offers interactive experiences such as in-car gaming and karaoke, TEQ_Drive with custom drive modes and an acceleration boost exclusive to the Formula E Freedom Edition variant, TEQ_Me allowing you to personalise the vehicle, TEQ_Secture for improved car safety and TEQ_xting which allows customers to create personalised Tailgate Messaging.
Mahindra BE 6 SportEQ Launch Edition and Formula E Freedom Edition
The BE 6 SPORTEQ Launch Edition sits at the top of the range, distinguished by an exclusive Graphite Storm exterior and a full racing tan leatherette interior. The Formula E Freedom Edition on the other hand represents the most performance-focused expression of the BE 6, drawing inspiration from Mahindra Racing's Formula E programme. The Freedom Edition features the original BE 6 headlamp design, complemented by a more purposeful exterior treatment with subtle tricolour accents that celebrate its racing inspiration. Emphasising its sporty character, the Freedom Edition will be available in satin colour finishes including the new Rosso Impulso. Inside, the cabin adopts an exclusive Black & Firestorm orange theme, paired with a two-screen digital cockpit and a signature halo design element. The Freedom Edition will offer Acceleration Boost (0-100 kmph in 6.44 sec) delivering an added layer of performance and driver involvement.
Mahindra BE 6 SportEQ prices
Prices for the SportEQ range start from ₹11.45 lakh and top-out at ₹12.95 lakh for the BaaS variants with the 59kWh battery back. Buying the BE 6 with the 59kWh outright will cost you between ₹19.45 to ₹21.95 lakh, while the same for the 70kWh variant will cost you between ₹22.95 lakh to ₹23.95 lakh, depending on the variant. The 79kWh battery pack will cost you from ₹24.45 lakh to ₹26.95 lakh, depending on what variant you choose, and deliveries for the BE 6 SportEQ will begin from August 26, 2026.
