Maruti Suzuki Invicto scores 5-star in the Bharat NCAP crash safety test
Invicto becomes the third car from Maruti Suzuki’s stable after Dzire and Victoris to secure 5-star in the BNCAP
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, scored a 5-star rating in the BNCAP.
Increasing customer awareness regarding vehicle safety has led manufacturers to highlight their cars' safety performance. In this context, Bharat NCAP (BNCAP) scores are highly relevant. The Maruti Suzuki Invicto is the latest model to undergo testing and has achieved a 5-star BNCAP safety rating. Notably, the Toyota Innova Hycross, the platform on which the Invicto is based, had already secured the same 5-star rating in BNCAP testing conducted in June 2025.
The Maruti MPV has scored 30.43 points out of a maximum of 32 points for adult occupant protection and scored 45 points out of a maximum of 49 points for child occupant protection.

As for safety equipment and features it gets six airbags, 360-degree cameras with dynamic guidelines, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, Suzuki Connect with an e-call button (emergency calling feature in case of an accident), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and an electronic parking brake. It also has ABS and ESP.

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto is powered by a 2-litre petrol strong hybrid powertrain, which is assisted by a single electric motor. This self-charging powertrain produces a combined 183bhp of power and 206Nm of torque, driving the front wheels via an e-CVT transmission. It is only available in two variants — Zeta+ which is priced at ₹24.97 lakh and Alpha+ is priced at ₹28.70 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
