Maruti Suzuki Victoris Aurum Edition launched
Copper inserts, a dose of chrome and a golden first year for the fastest-selling passenger vehicle in India
Maruti Suzuki has marked the anniversary of its Maruti Suzuki Victoris SUV with the Aurum Edition, a gold-themed styling package. The name Aurum, the Latin word for gold, nods to that, and the Victoris Aurum Edition is a festive-season special aimed at buyers who want their SUV to stand out in the car park.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris Aurum Edition continues to retain the basic design but with copper coloured inserts appear on the front, side and rear skid plate designs and around the wheel arches, giving the SUV a warm accent that stands out against the body colour. Chrome does the rest of the talking. The front grille, fenders, bumpers, body side mouldings and door visors all get chrome garnishes, and a rear trunk sill guard rounds off the package. The interior gets a new all-weather 3D cabin mats and a 3D boot mat.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris Aurum Edition powertrain
Since the Aurum Edition is just an accessories pack, the powertrain of the Victoris continues to be unchanged. The Victories gets a strong-hybrid powertrain with an EV mode which makes use of a 1.5-litre nat-asp engine mated to an electric motor and an eCVT gearbox. Together they produce 114 bhp, with 141 Nm of torque. Do note, the Aurum Edition is only available with the strong-hybrid powertrain.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris Aurum Edition price
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris Aurum Edition has a price of ₹22,990 – which is the price of the styling package and not of the car itself. It is available only on the strong-hybrid variants of the Victoris, which are priced from ₹16.42 lakh to ₹19.98 lakh onwards. We expect the kit to be a limited-run offering limited to the festive season.
