Maserati GT2 Stradale showcased in India at the launch of the updated Maserati portfolio
The road-legal version of Maserati’s GT2 race car features a 3-litre twin-turbo V6, track-focused aero and a 324kmph top speed

Maserati has brought a taste of Italian performance to India with the launch of the facelifted GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Grecale. Joining the refreshed lineup on display is the GT2 Stradale, a road-legal supercar derived from the brand’s GT2 race car. Based on the MC20, it packs a 622bhp twin-turbo V6 and track-focused aero, bringing the thrill of clever motorsport tech to the road.

Powering the GT2 Stradale is a 3-litre, twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine that produces 622bhp and 720Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, driving the rear wheels. The Trident-wielding supercar accelerates from 0-100kmph in 2.8 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 324kmph.
With these figures, the GT2 Stradale is the most powerful road-going Maserati powered by an internal combustion engine. It also gets a dedicated ‘Corsa’ drive mode, while the more focused ‘Corsa Evo’ mode is available with the optional Performance Pack.

2025 GT2 Stradale track-focused aero
The GT2 Stradale features aerodynamic enhancements inspired by Maserati’s GT2 race car. Its rear wing can generate up to 500kg of downforce at 280kmph in the high-drag configuration, while the revised aerodynamic package is designed to improve stability and performance at high speeds.
The supercar is also around 60kg lighter than the standard MC20 in its standard configuration. It features a carbonfibre chassis, while an optional front lift system raises the front of the car by 35mm to help clear the odd speed breakers and steep inclines.

The cabin follows a driver-focused layout, with extensive use of Alcantara and carbon fibre. The racing-inspired interior is complemented by seats developed with Sabelt, reflecting the car’s motorsport roots while retaining its road-going credentials.
Despite its track-focused character, the GT2 Stradale retains a 100-litre boot, adding a degree of everyday practicality to the package.

Its motorsport connection comes from Maserati’s GT2 racing programme, which made its competitive debut at the Fanatec GT2 European Series at Paul Ricard in 2023 before contesting a full season in 2024.
