JSW MG Motor India has appointed Parth Jindal as its new Chairman. A member of the Board since the start of the joint venture, Jindal has been looking after the company's core operations, including product strategy, manufacturing expansion and even localisation. The joint venture between JSW and SAIC Motor, of which MG Motor is a part, was signed in March 2024.
MG Motor India’s current portfolio includes a range of ICE (petrol and diesel), PHEVs and Pure EVs. The MG Windsor EV is the brand’s recent best-selling battery electric vehicle, having sold 1.5 lakh units since its launch in 2024. From its ICE range the Hector remains the best-selling model since its introduction in 2019. JSW MG Motor India’s latest launches include the MG Hector Tomahawk, which is offered in PHEV and EV powertrains.
