Suzuki displayed a variety of concepts at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, driven by the goal towards carbon neutrality
Suzuki is showcasing a plethora of concepts in various shapes and sizes at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, it is likely that we’ll see some of them arrive in India in the near future. The Japanese giant displayed the following four wheeler exhibits — a mini-BEV called Vision e-Sky Concept, a mini-BEV commercial vehicle called the e Every Concept, the Fronx FFV Concept. Suzuki’s latest production models like the e Vitara, X BEE, Jimny Nomade and the Spacia are also on display.
As for two-wheelers, they had the e-VanVan bike, pre-production GSX-8T/GSX-8TT neo-retro models, e-PO foldable electric bike, e-Access BEV scooter, pre-production GSX-R1000R, GIXXER SF 250 FFV and the Hydrogen Engine Burgman. Let’s have a closer look at some of these interesting exhibits from the house of Suzuki.
Suzuki Vision e-Sky Concept
The Vision e-Sky Concept is a mini-BEV, a small electric city car which shares a resemblance with the S-Presso hatchback sold in India. This concept is 3395mm long, adhering to the Kei-car rules of the Japanese market, making it shorter than the Indian-spec S-Presso. Additionally, the Vision e-Sky would offer a claimed range of 270km. Suzuki is aiming to bring this car to the Japanese market within FY 2026.
Suzuki Fronx FFV Concept
The Fronx needs no introduction as it is already on sale in India. What’s worth pointing out is that this Fronx Flexible Fuel Vehicle Concept promises compatibility with a significantly higher percentage of ethanol blended in the fuel, more than the present E20 standard in India. It is a part of Suzuki’s initiatives towards becoming carbon neutral.
Suzuki Hydrogen Engine Burgman
This Burgman with a hydrogen pumping heart is the culmination of Suzuki’s alternative approach towards carbon neutrality. It aims to offer the ‘Thrill of Riding’ that stems from enjoying the exhaust note from an internal combustion engine in a more environmentally friendly way.
As of now, there’s no word from Suzuki with regards to launching the production model of the e-Sky concept. However, it could possibly be the most affordable electric hatchback in the Indian market, at a price that could undercut the similarly sized MG Comet, being 2974mm long. That being said, the Fronx FFV Concept has a higher chance of making it to India in its production-ready avatar.
