Tata Aeris teased ahead of September 25 debut
Tata Aeris to likely replacing the current generation Tigor
Tata Motors has teased its upcoming Aeris sedan, which is set to debut on September 25. The Aeris is likely to be a generation change of the Tata Tigor, and more details about the new sedan are expected to be shared in the run-up to its debut.
The Aeris’s front fascia appears to be sleeker compared to the existing Tigor’s and it gets slim LED headlights with a thin DRL strip above them. The teaser also reveals LED fog lamps, which the Tigor does not offer, and other details include redesigned tail-lights and a new purple exterior shade.
It is expected to get a thoroughly updated interior while the mechanicals will likely be identical to the Tigor, while also likely including an EV powertrain. The updates to the car will also likely make it more expensive than the outgoing Tata Tigor, rivalling the likes of sedans such as the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. Stay tuned to this space for more details.
