Bookings for the Tata Harrier.ev open on July 2, and the SUV can be had in either a rear-wheel-drive configuration with a single motor or an all-wheel-drive configuration with a dual-motor setup. The exterior design of the Tata Harrier.ev is identical to that of the ICE-powered Harrier, with subtle changes including a blanked-off grille and a revised bumper. You also get a smattering of EV badges on the Harrier.ev, along with 19-inch wheels with a design that claims to be optimised for aerodynamics. The Harrier.ev comes in four colour options and the SUV can also be had in the Stealth Edition, which features a blacked-out colour scheme.

It is a similar story on the inside of the Harrier.ev, with the layout remaining identical to its ICE-powered sibling. However, you do get a lot of features with the Harrier.ev and these include powered and ventilated front seats with memory, as well as a memory function. for the ORVMs. Also present on the Harrier.ev is a voice assisted panoramic sunroof, rear sunshades, Level 2 ADAS, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) capabilities and a boss mode for the rear passenger. Other features include built-in navigation, 6 terrain modes, a 14.53-inch infotainment screen and a 10-speaker JBL Black sound system, a 540-degree surround view system which also shows you what is underneath the vehicle, an e-IRVM that offers an unobstructed view of the rear along with a built-in dashcam, a digital key, a summon mode and automated parking assist.
Tata Harrier.ev powertrain
The Harrier.ev is based on the acti.ev+ pure EV architecture and it can be had either with a 65kWh battery pack or a 75kWh battery pack. The Harrier.ev can be had with a single motor RWD setup or a dual-motor AWD setup. The rear motor produces 235bhp of power while the front motor is good for 155bhp, along with a cumulative torque figure of 504Nm. While we do not have the range figures for all the variants yet, Tata Motors claims a range of 622km with the 75kWh battery pack (MIDC Part 1 + Part 2 cycle).

Prices for the Tata Harrier.ev start from ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), and this is the introductory price for the entry-level Adventure variant with the 65kWh battery pack. Tata Motors has not yet revealed prices for the remainder of the variants for the Harrier.ev. Bookings for the electric SUV will open on July 2 and it is expected to go up against the likes of the Mahindra BE 6 and the XEV 9e, along with the Hyundai Creta Electric.
