Ducati Diavel V4 launched in India at Rs 25.91 lakh
Ducati has launched the Diavel V4 in India. The V4 Granturismo engine is the key shift for the power cruiser, with prices starting at Rs 25.91 lakh. Ducati has also made some changes to the chassis and styling of the 2023 Diavel V4.
2023 Ducati Diavel V4 design
The new V4 version of the Diavel retains its unmistakable essence in terms of design. The muscular 20-litre tank, air vents flanking the headlamp, scooped seat with a slender tail, and large rear tyre hugged by a single-sided swingarm are all retained. However, the Italian manufacturer has made significant changes to this latest iteration. The 2023 Diavel features a new LED headlight with C-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs), as well as dual-tone alloys with a diamond-cut effect. The rear light configuration is now a cluster of small LEDs beneath the tail section, mirroring the C-shaped pattern seen in the front DRLs. Ducati has also included a quad-exhaust setup. The Ducati Diavel V4 will come in two colour options: Ducati Red and Thrilling Black. The motorcycle also gets a retractable rear grab handle and passenger footrests.
2023 Ducati Diavel V4 chassis
The Ducati Diavel V4 2023 now rides on a monocoque aluminium frame, which reduces the motorcycle's weight by 13kg. It has a 50mm USD fully adjustable front suspension and a fully adjustable rear monoshock. At the front, double 330 mm discs and Brembo Stylema monobloc callipers perform braking duties. The wheels are cast aluminium with machined spokes, and the rear tyre is a Diablo Rosso III in 240/45 size. The Diavel V4 has a seat height of 790mm.
2023 Ducati Diavel V4 engine
The V4 Granturismo engine has now found its way into the Diavel lineup doing duties in the Multistrada models. The latest version of this Italian manufacturer's power cruiser is powered by a liquid-cooled 1158cc V4 engine. This engine produces a maximum output of 165.7bhp at 10,750rpm and a maximum torque of 126Nm at 7,500rpm.
2023 Ducati Diavel V4 features
The extensive electronics suite encompasses three power modes and four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and the newly introduced Wet), coupled with cornering-enabled traction control and ABS. The motorcycle also features tech like a 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), launch control, wheelie control, and a bidirectional quickshifter. While lacking the radar technology for adaptive cruise control found on the Multistrada V4, the Diavel V4 does still have the cruise control function. The motorcycle also features a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and Ducati Link app connectivity.

Prices for the 2023 Ducati Diavel V4 begin at Rs 25.91 lakh, with deliveries beginning immediately in all Ducati stores in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Chandigarh.
