The Hero MotoCorp Vida V1 electric scooter is preparing to enter the European and UK markets after debuting in the Indian market in October 2022.

The Vida V1 Pro, Hero Motocorp's first foray into electric mobility, features a standard 3.94kWh battery and two removable batteries of 1.97kWh each. It can do a sprint from 0-40kmph in 3.2 seconds and tops up at 80kmph. The V1 Pro has a real-world range of 110km.

The Vida V1 Pro includes cruise control, boost mode, two-way throttle, keyless entry, and a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with over-the-air connectivity for user convenience. On the security front, the V1 Pro includes an anti-theft alarm system as well as geofencing for location monitoring and boundary alerts. It also supports remote immobilisation and vehicle diagnostics, as well as an SOS alert button in case of an emergency. The V1 Pro also includes turn-by-turn navigation, follow-me-home lights, and keyless entry to enhance the user experience.

The scooter has a 5-year or 50000km vehicle warranty and a 3-year or 30000km battery warranty. The motor is IP68 rated, and the battery is IP67 rated.

The Vida V1 comes with a new 'Coupe' accessory that converts the scooter into a sleek single-seater or back to a two-seater configuration, giving the rider flexibility to cater to their needs and style. Hero says that this design ensures functionality while also allowing for personalised experiences.

Notably, the Vida V1 Pro has also set a Guinness World Record for the longest distance travelled by an electric scooter in 24 hours, covering 1780 km.
