Isuzu has launched the 2018 D-Max V-Cross in India with a new ‘ruby red’ colour and numerous features. This is essentially a facelift of the pick-up which was launched back in 2016. Mechanically it remains the same and is powered by 2.5-litre turbo diesel that makes 134bhp and 320Nm of peak torque, mated to a five-speed manual gear box. The pick-up is also equipped with low ratio transfer case and shift-on- fly 4WD modes which can be engaged up to speeds of 100kmph.

The top of the line V-Cross High variant now gets substantial features compared to the 2016 model. New additions include stability control, traction control, LED DRLs and LED tail lamps, cruise control, six-way power adjustable driver seat, rear view camera that is a welcome addition for a pick-up truck of this length, leather seats and rear chrome bumper. The High trim is priced at Rs 15.81 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.  The standard variant gets only the 2-DIN entertainment system, rear view camera and side steps while it misses out on the rest of the goodies.
