Jeep Compass Limited Plus launched at Rs 21.07 lakh

Jeep has added a new variant to its best-selling Compass SUV in India. The Limited Plus is the new top of the range trim of the Jeep Compass and like before, it will be offered in three derivatives- two diesel options and a single petrol one. The Jeep Compass Limited Plus diesel 4X2 variant is priced at Rs 21.07 lakh while the diesel 4X4 variant will set you back by Rs 22.85 lakh. On the other hand, the Limited Plus petrol 4X2 automatic variant costs Rs 21.41 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

New features for the Jeep Compass Limited Plus

The Jeep Compass Limited Plus now packs even more premium features like automatic HID headlamps and wipers. There are new ‘Jewel tone’ 18inch alloys, which are bigger than the 17inch ones offered on the Longitude and Limited variants.

On the inside there’s a host of new upgrades. There’s a bigger 8.4inch UConnect touch screen infotainment display, which is an upgrade over the 7inch display on the other variants. On the convenience front, the driver’s seat is eight-way electrically adjustable with memory function. There’s even a four-way lumbar support system to take care of your back according to your preference. Another swanky addition is a panoramic sunroof that the company says is the largest in its segment.

The Jeep Compass is offered in three engine and drivetrain options. The 4X4 and 4X2 diesel variants are powered by the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that makes 170bhp and 350Nm of torque while the 4X2 petrol automatic is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged unit that produces 160bhp and 250Nm of torque.

Jeep’s most popular SUV in India is offered in 11 variants ranging from Rs 15,35 lakh for the base Sport variant to Rs 22.85 lakh for the top spec diesel manual. The deliveries for the Jeep Compass Limited Plus are set to begin in the first week of October, just in time for festivities.
