Mahindra opens bookings for XUV300

After showcasing the XUV300 last month, Mahindra has opened bookings for this baby XUV. With a launch scheduled next month, this cheetah inspired compact SUV will go up against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Ford Ecosport. The price is expected to be between Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).

The car will be available with a 1.2 litre petrol engine that will produce 200Nm along with a 1.5 litre diesel variant that produces a class-leading torque of 300Nm. The XUV300 boasts of first in class 7 airbags, including a knee airbag for the driver. Another segment-first feature is the dual-zone automatic climate control and front parking sensors. Boasting the longest wheelbase and best-in-class width, the car promises other premium features like an electric sunroof, LED DRLs and taillamps.
