Mr. Rudratej Singh appointed as the CEO of BMW Group India
Mr. Rudratej Singh appointed as the President and the CEO of BMW Group India effective August 1, 2019. Mr. Rudratej has had 25 years of experience and has had leader ship positions in the automotive as well as other industries. Prior to BMW, he was the global president at Royal Enfield and before this he has worked with Hindustan Unilever in India and other markets for over 16 years. In terms of education, Mr. Rudratej graduated from Delhi University and holds an MBA degree in Marketing and Finance from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
Speaking about the occasion, Mr. Hendrik von Kuenheim, senior vice president, region Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, BMW Group said, “We are delighted to welcome Mr. Rudratej Singh as the President and Chief Executive Officer of BMW Group India. Until August 1, 2019 Dr. Hans-Christian Baertels, Director, Finance and Administration at BMW Group India will be fulfilling the responsibility as acting President. After handing over the mantle to Mr.Rudratej Singh, he will be responsible for BMW, MINI and Motorrad (The BMW Group) in India and to capture more of the market in the luxury automotive segment.
