Renault launches the Kwid Super Hero edition

Renault India has unveiled the new Kwid Super Hero Edition today. The new Kwid Super Hero edtion will be available in two versions, the Captain America edition and the Iron Man edition. The Kwid has been a  very successful model for the French automaker and has sold more than 2,00,000 units so far. The Super Hero edition is the result of a collaboration between Renault  and Marvel.

Speaking on the launch, Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations, said, “With the Renault KWID Super Hero Edition, Renault offers the specially designed Kwid for Super Hero fans through our collaboration with Marvel. Through this, our consumer centric approach takes the next step by exceeding customer expectations through innovation, design, and quality”.

The KWID Super Hero Edition is designed and developed by Renault’s design studios in Mumbai and Chennai and will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2018.

The Super Hero Edition will be based on the top-of-the-line Kwid but will feature additional aesthetic bits to help freshen up the car.

The KWID Super Hero Edition will be available over the top-end 1.0L RXT (O) variant in manual transmission and automated manual transmission, with two colour-themed versions Renault KWID Captain America inspired Edition in White with Captain America’s shield and suit theme and Renault KWID Iron Man inspired Edition in Red with Iron Man’s Arc Reactor and armour theme. The 1.0 litre SCe engine powers the KWID Super Hero.

It features front and rear strips depending on the version, new wheels and dual tone ORVMs painted in gloss red with white or gold streaks. The ‘Invincible’ insignia on the Iron Man inspired Edition and ’Super Soldier’ insignia on the Captain America inspired Edition on the rear doors create a distinct identity of these special editions.

The KWID Super Hero Edition is the only super-hero themed offering for a Marvel Super Hero fan.
