Skoda Octavia RS 245 makes a comeback in India, bookings commence from March 1

Official bookings for the Skoda Octavia RS 245 will commence on March 1. Enthusiasts will be able to pre-book by paying a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. Only 200 units of the Octavia RS 245 will be sold exclusively through the company’s official website

Skoda Auto India has just announced it will commence reservations for Octavia RS 245 on 1 March 2020, at 12 noon, via a centralized platform booking can be placed for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh, A limited two hundred units of the Octavia RS 245 will be sold exclusively through the website, The Octavia RS 245 will be priced at an ex-showroom price of INR 35.99 lacs

Design Details

The Octavia gets the same body style as the regular car just with some added details like gloss black elements in place of the chrome trims. The radiator grille along with the tailgate gets the RS badge that features a 'V', little known fact the V stands for Victory. The Octavia gets dual-tone Vega alloys it also sits lower than the standard car by 15mm in an effort to give it a more sporty character and improve handling. The car also retains its quad headlight set up with LED daytime running lights.

The interiors for the Skoda Octavia get black Alcantara sports seats that are integrated headrests that feature the RS logo insignia all in an effort to enhance the sporty and performance-oriented nature of the car. The Octavia is fortunate to get the Virtual cockpit display that is the digital instrument cluster which can be configured to display important driving data as well as navigation information. It gets a flat-bottom three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with paddle-shift that is wrapped in black perforated leather with red stitching.
