Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 launched at Rs 2.99 lakh

The F77 Mach 2 gets two battery options and a maximum range of 323km

Ultraviolette has launched its second all-electric motorcycle, the F77 Mach 2. The introductory price starts at Rs 2.99 lakh for the base variant and Rs 3.99 lakh for the top-end Recon variant. These prices are valid only for the first 1000 customers.

Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 design and features

The design language is similar to the standard F77 from before. Like earlier, the bike gets sharp cuts, creases and lines that give it a sharp look. At the front, it gets USD forks and a triangular headlamp unit. Behind that is a clip-on handlebar and a 5-inch colour TFT display. The tank is where the charger port is situated. The bike has nine colour options. The rear end also follows a similar sharp styling with an LED taillight. You also get a bunch of accessories including crash protection, wheel caps, panniers to store the fast charger and more.

Ultraviolette has increased the level of regen to 10 from the earlier 3, but they are only available on the Recon variant and as an option for the base variant. The 3 ride modes are the same as before. Ultraviolette has also added more features now with the introduction of traction control and switchable ABS. There are more connected features also like delta watch, anti-collision warning system (ACWS), fall and towing alerts and more.

The Mach 2 continues with the sharp styling seen on the earlier F77.

It is underpinned by a steel-trellis frame with 41mm USD forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear. Both variants get preload adjustable suspension on both ends. Braking comes courtesy of a 320mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear. The seat height is 800mm and ground clearance is 160mm. For the base variant with the 7.1kWh battery, the kerb weight is 197kg whereas the Recon variant with the 10.3kWh battery weighs in at 207kg. One interesting thing about the F77 Mach 2 is that it gets a 50:50 weight distribution.

Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 battery and performance
