Yokohama launches new tyre series for crossovers and MUVs in India
BluEarth RV-02 is the latest tyre series from Yokohama. It’s specially engineered for low noise and wet weather performance for the fast growing passenger car segments of crossovers and MUVs in India. According to the company the the BluEarth RV-02 is a ‘Grand Touring’ tyre, which is capable of withstanding uneven wear and tear. It uses Yokohama’s proprietary Orange Oil technology along with blend polymer and double silica that enhance the wet performance of the tyres. The new series tyres also use 3D sipes and mound profile to resist uneven wear and improve comfort.
Sanjay Chatterjee, Head of Sales and Marketing, Yokohama India, said, “BluEarth RV-02 will be available in 7 sizes for various CUVS & MUVs and will be sold exclusively from Yokohama Club Network dealers. This segment in India especially Cross-Over UVs has been growing rapidly year after year and BluEarth RV-02 is an industry first range for Compact CUVs like (Vitara Brezza, S-Cross, Creta, Inova Crysta etc.)”
