VinFast is an EV automaker and is part of the Vietnamese giant, Vingroup which has operations spanning across sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, education, public transportation, cybersecurity as well as infrastructure and land development. VinFast arrived on the Indian shores in August 2025 and was quick to spread its roots with the production plant in SPICOT Industrial Park Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. This premium electric SUV from the house of VinFast is equipped with the latest in new-age tech such as a 12.9-inch free-standing infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a coloured head-up display unit for the driver and Level 2 ADAS which unlocks a suite of driver’s assistance and connected car features. It also features full-LED lighting with auto-levelling function alongside smart ORVMs which offer functions such as auto-dimming, heating, powered folding and reverse-link.

4. Long-range and AWD capabilities with VF 7 Sky

VinFast is one of the two brands in the segment to offer an AWD propelled model. The VF 7 Sky packs the bigger 70.8kWh battery with a claimed range of 510km. It also has fast charging capabilities which allow it to go from 10 to 70 per cent of charge in just 28 minutes. The dual-motor setup produces a peak output of 349bhp and 500Nm of torque. With those figures, the VF 7 will do a 0 to 100kmph sprint in a claimed 5.8 seconds.

The VF 7 gets 7 airbags as standard along with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Rollover Mitigation (ROM), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) and Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB).
