The K1000 Rally saw TSI Racing bag a 1-2 finish while Pragathi Gowda went on to make rally history

The iconic K1000 Rally was held from December 12-14, 2025 and this rally, which was the fourth round of the Blueband Sports FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) saw Dean Mascarenhas and co-driver Gagan Karumbaiah finish on top, winning their third rally in a row after securing victories in the previous rounds at Coimbatore and Coorg.

Their team TSI Racing, went on to secure the first and second places at the K1000 rally, thanks to teammates Aditya Thakur and Virender Kashyap finishing second over. Both the driver and co-driver duos from TSI Racing also finished first and second in the INRC1 class, with Vishakh B and Chiranth Jain completing the overall podium for the rally. Here’s a look at the rest of the class-wise standings from the rally.

INRC2

Pragathi Gowda and co-driver Chandramouli M went on to make history at the K1000 rally as Pragathi became the first woman driver to win a rally round in the INRC2 class. The driver and co-driver were also the only finishers in the INRC2 class.

INRC3

The INRC3 class saw Shashank Jamwal and Raghuram Saminathan clinch the top spot, followed by Vishakh B from Kerala and co-driver Chiranth Jain in second place, with Jenu Johnson and Lenin Joseph finishing third in this class of the K1000 rally.

INRC3T

The relatively new INRC3T category saw Naveen Puligilla and co-driver Santhosh R charge towards the win. Meanwhile Thejas S and Ravindra Kumar finished in second place in the INRC3T class, with the podium for the INRC3T class closed out by Ramcharan C and Vignesh Mahalingam

Junior INRC

Coming to the Junior INRC category, Abhin Rai and co-driver Moideen Jasheer emerged as the winners after a closely contested battle, with Abhimanyu Sajeevan from Calicut and co-driver Avinash CA finishing second. Ajay Sanker and Venu Rameshkumar V took third place in the Junior INRC class at the K1000 rally.

Women’s Class

Athira Murali and Arun Chakkalakkal from Kottayam led the charge in the women’s class, followed by Phoebe Nongrum Dale and co-driver Sanath G in second, and Tarushi Vikram from Chikkamagaluru with co-driver Vybhav Mukund Rao in third place.

Classic Challenge Cup and Gypsy Challenge

Leading the Classic Challenge was Siddartha Santosh and co-driver Sawan Sathyanarayan who took the top honours for the class, followed by Pramod Raman and Saravana Kumar, both from Bengaluru, in second place. Moving to the Gypsy Challenge, Sachin Singh and co-driver Supreet Sagar claimed the class win, with Chethan Chengappa and Prakash Muthusaamy finishing second, while Thomas Marattukalam and Ashvin Gururaj completed the podium.

The next round of the Indian National Rally Championship will take the action to Indore with the Rally of Madhya Pradesh, which will be taking place from January 30 to February 1, 2026.
