Round 4 of the Indian Racing Festival was held at the Manohar International Airport Street Circuit in Goa, and the race weekend saw Goa Aces JA Racing emerge victorious on home ground, following a win in the Feature race which took place on the Day 2 of the IRF round.

Indian Racing Festival Round 4 Feature Race

To give you some perspective, the Indian Racing Festival race weekend traditionally sees four races taking place – two Driver A races and two Driver B races. Day 1 of the IRF race weekend in Goa already saw a Driver A and a Driver B take place, and you can read about all the action on Day 1 here in our previous report. Day 2 of the Goa race weekend included a Feature Race, which started with a Driver A stint, followed by a driver swap and the Driver B from the respective teams heading out for their stint in a relay fashion. Goa Aces JA Racing were clearly on form in the feature races, with teammates Raoul Hyman and Fabienne Wohlwend leading the team to a victory at their home circuit.

Feature Race Driver A stint

Hyman set the fastest lap at tight street circuit after a clean run through traffic during the Driver A stint, entering the pits for the mandatory driver swap window and handing over the car to teammate Wohlwend with nearly a 20-second cushion. “This was our first time racing in the driver-swap format together, so it was truly a team effort. managed to bring the car in with the lead, but the safety car meant Fabienne had to handle the restart and the pressure. She did a fantastic job and answered every challenge. I’m really proud of her, and I’m glad we could bring the win home.”

What should’ve ordinarily been a smooth sailing for Wohlwend turned into a pressure test when a safety car negated her lead and bunched up the field. Wohlwend would go on to push and build up her lead again and defended her position despite being under pressure from Ruhaan Alva, leading the race right up till the finish. “There was a lot of pressure, especially after Raoul’s strong start and the gap he built. When the safety car came out, my focus was on staying calm and not cracking under pressure. I managed a strong restart, created a gap and from there it was about keeping things clean and bringing the car home safely,” Wohlwend said.

The Feature race saw the duo Hyman and Wohlwend take first position, followed by Sachel Rotge and Ruhaan Alva of Kichcha's Kings Bengaluru in second place, with Alister Yoong and Caitlin Wood of Speed Demons Delhi finishing the race in third place. As Round 4 draws to a close, Goa Aces JA Racing are currently leading the championship standings, closely followed by Speed Demons Delhi and Kichcha's Kings Bengaluru in third place. The final round of the Indian Racing Festival season will take place on March 21-22, 2026 in Navi Mumbai, on a new street circuit that has been added to the motorsport championship's calendar.
