Team BigRock Motorsports claims its second consecutive championship victory by winning the Indian Supercross Racing League Season 2!

Team BigRock Motorsports SX, the champions of the Indian Supercross Racing League S1 have successfully defended their title in S2 with a stellar performance by Matt Moss, who bagged P1 in the 450cc International Class alongside teammate Thanarat Penjan, who won in the 250cc India-Asia Mix Class. Season 2 of ISRL was an exciting motorsports showcase with new teams in the mix. Round 1 was dominated by BB Racing on the opening evening at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi in Pune, Maharashtra. The Supercross action moved to Hyderabad, Telangana at GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium, Gachibowli for Round 2 wherein Team Gujarat Trailblazers claimed overall victory. With each passing round the fan attendance grew from ten thousand in Round 1 to thirty two thousand in Round 3 in Calicut, Kerala.

As for the team championship standings for Season 2, BigRock Motorsports SX was on top of the leaderboard with 371 total points, Indewheelers Motorsports came in second place with a score of 365 points. Team Gujarat Trailblazers secured third position with 352 points. While teams BB Racing, Tricolor Motorsports and Reise TorqRacers stood fourth, fifth and sixth scoring 279, 230 and 222 points, respectively.
The class-wise standings from Round 3 and the Grand Finale saw the 450cc International Class ruled by Matt Moss ((BigRock Motorsports SX) with 37 points, seconded by Jordi Tixier (BB Racing) earned 28 points. Third place was secured by John Short (BigRock Motorsports SX) with 27 points.

In the 250cc International Class it was Calvin Fonvieille (Indewheelers Motorsports) clinched first place with 40 points, while Hugo Mazato (Tricolor Motorsports) came in a close second place with 32 points and Mickael Lamarque (Indewheelers Motorsports) completed the podium with 28 points atop his Yamaha YZF 250.
The 250cc India-Asia Mix Class also had the champion team’s Thanarat Penjan (BigRock Motorsports SX) in the lead position with 30 points, followed by Witsarut Salangam (Indewheelers Motorsports) in second place also scoring 30 points. Third position was secured by Nakami Vidi Makarim (BigRock Motorsports SX) with 30 points as well.

Brand Ambassador, Salman Khan presented the winning team with the ISRL S2 championship trophy and reflected on this season by saying, “Watching the Grand Finale in Calicut was truly special. The success of the second season of ISRL sends out an important message. The Indian motorsports scene is finally flourishing, be it the commercial viability with sponsors and media partners getting onboard, alongside the increasing fan engagement at the events and on social media, supporting their favourite team. Most importantly, International talent is now eyeing India as a worthy proving ground for their respective athletic disciplines.
